Located in Newark, New Jersey, the Peter W. Rodino Federal Office Building project consisted of the complete renovation of 15 floors for use by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.  Base Building work included a complete upgrade of the electrical system and installation of the emergency generator system as well as the repair of the main plaza for the building. As the designated Construction Manager for the project, Mr. Altis was responsible for developing appropriate project controls and undertaking construction inspections throughout the construction phase of the work. The project was completed both on time and within the fixed budget of the General Services Administration and the occupying Agency. Improvements above the Base Building Tenant Improvement costs were in excess of $3 Million.
